Antonio studied Medicine in Málaga, beginning his specialisation studies through an internship (MIR), at the Málaga Clinical Hospital.
After reading his doctoral thesis he obtained exceptional grades therefore he achieved the doctoral “Cum laude” honors degree.
His professional activity at the Costa del Sol Hospital has been alternated with his private activity for ten years.
He is a member of both the Spanish Ophthalmology Society and the Spanish Refractive Implant Surgery Society (SECOIR).
He takes part in courses, lectures and national and international congresses on anterior pole surgery on regular basis.
He is currently exclusively dedicated to the Eye Clinic Dr. Tirado (Costa del Sol Ophthalmological Institute), conducting directives, health care duties as well as principal surgeon tasks.
